1. Our Position on Copyright
DJ Musta Music respects the intellectual property rights of artists, music producers, and rights holders. All music uploaded to this platform remains the property of the respective artists and rights holders.
We do not claim ownership of any music available on the platform. We are a hosting and distribution platform that enables artists to share their music.
2. Uploader Responsibility
Every person who uploads music to DJ Musta Music:
- Confirms they own the music or hold a valid licence to distribute it.
- Is solely responsible for ensuring the upload does not infringe any third-party rights.
- Grants DJ Musta Music a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host and display the content on the platform.
- Accepts that uploads in violation of these terms will be removed and the account may be suspended.
We do not pre-screen every upload for copyright compliance, but we act promptly on valid takedown requests.
3. How to Submit a DMCA Takedown Request
If you are the rights holder and believe your copyrighted music has been uploaded without your permission, follow these steps:
Prepare your information
Gather the following: your full name and contact details, a description of the copyrighted work, the URL of the specific song page on djmusta.com, and evidence that you own the rights (e.g. release certificate, contract, or official distribution record).
Send the request by email
Email [email protected] with the subject line "DMCA Takedown Request".
Include a statement of good faith
Include the following statement in your email: "I have a good faith belief that the use of the copyrighted material described above is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law. The information in this notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, I am the copyright owner or authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner."
We review and act
We review all valid requests promptly and aim to respond within 3 business days. If the request is valid, we will remove the content and notify the uploader.

- Your full name and contact email/phone
- The song title and artist name
- The exact URL of the song on djmusta.com
- Proof of ownership or authorisation (document, certificate, or official link)
- The statement of good faith (see Step 3 above)

4. Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to [email protected] with:
- Your full name and contact details.
- Identification of the removed content and its original location.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief the content was removed by mistake.
- Your consent to jurisdiction of Ugandan courts for any dispute.
We will review counter-notifications and may restore content if the original takedown request is found to be invalid.
5. Repeat Infringers
Accounts that repeatedly upload content that infringes third-party rights will be suspended or permanently banned from the platform.
6. No Endorsement of Uploaded Content
Presence of music on DJ Musta Music does not constitute an endorsement, ownership claim, or any form of licensing by DJ Musta Music. All rights in the music remain with the original creators and rights holders.
7. Use of Music for Downloads
Downloads available on DJ Musta Music are for personal, non-commercial use only. Redistribution, resale, or use in commercial projects requires obtaining a licence directly from the rights holder. DJ Musta Music does not grant any commercial licence.
